Short and simple: how Loos — the points that pay at checkout, named after the Somali word for peanut — and the friend code work.

Earning Loos
Sign in and every $3.00 you actually pay on a collected order earns 1 Loos. Smaller amounts are never lost: the app saves your progress in cents until the next Loos is complete. Loos Coffee may run double-Loos hours and give welcome Loos on a first order; these are announced in the app. The part of a bill paid with Loos, and the delivery fee, do not earn new Loos. Points from the old stamp card were converted once: 1 stamp became 1 Loos and each saved free drink became 12 Loos.
The golden Loos
Every 10 Loos make a golden Loos. A golden Loos pays for one drink in an order: the most expensive coffee-shop drink in that order, up to $3.75. It uses all 10 Loos at once and covers drinks, not food. It never combines with a promo code, friend code or welcome gift on the same order; you automatically get whichever saves you more, and the other is left untouched. Use it within 30 days of reaching 10 Loos, or those 10 Loos lapse. Orders rung up at the counter earn at most 1 Loos a day. If you place no order for 180 days, your Loos balance lapses. Loos Coffee may change these numbers with notice in the app. If an order paid with a golden Loos is cancelled, the Loos return to your card.
What rewards are not
Loos points spend only inside the Loos app. They have no cash value outside the app, cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for money or bought. They stay on your card while your account is active and are lost when the account is deleted.
Friend code
Share your code; a friend gets a discount on their first order when they enter it at checkout. One code per person, one use per new customer. Codes used to abuse the programme are removed.
Promo codes
Promo codes have their own conditions (dates, minimum order, uses). One promo code per order.
Welcome gift
New to Loos: sign in with your number and your first drink is half price. The gift applies by itself at your first order — 50% off the most expensive drink in that order — and it lives for 14 days from the day you join. One welcome gift per phone number, ever: it does not come back with a new or re-made account, and it never stacks with a friend code or promo code — you automatically get whichever discount is bigger. Loos may change or pause the welcome gift for future sign-ups; the gift never becomes cash.
Corrections
We may correct balances after a cancelled order, an error or abuse, and we may pause the programme for fraud. Questions: support@loos.coffee.
